Plantar Fasciitis is felt as pain on the sole of the foot.

Foot Pain, Heal Pain, Plantar FasciitisIt can occasionally be an indicator of rheumatic disease.

But is normally caused by poor footwear, standing for long periods of time at work or hypermobility of the foot.

Treatment involves deep massage and mobilisation of the foot.

Investing in a good pair of shoes, with decent arch support will go a long way to curing the problem.

But where it is thought necessary, you may be referred to a specialist podiatrist for further treatment.
